It\u2019s so refreshing to get to focus on them one at a time and really devote all of my energy to them. It\u2019s important for both of us that we get this time alone.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>I must admit, having a daughter is a joy I don\u2019t know how I could have lived without. I love our girly mommy daughter dates. Of course, there are lots of great ways to spend time together at home and for free, but sometimes you really want to make things extra special and festive. Here are some of our favorite ways to spend time together when we are heading out on the town!\n<h4><span style='\"color:' font-size:>10 Simple Mother Daughter Dates\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'><span style='\"color:'><strong>The Bookstore. We love walking through and looking at all the books and reading a few, making sure we check out our favorite characters to make sure there is nothing new out!\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'><span style='\"color:'><strong>The Movies. This works out great when my older son has a movie date scheduled with dad and we can go at the same time!\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'><span style='\"color:'><strong>The Mall. A ride on the carousel, a cookie at the food court for a special treat \u2013 the mall is a blast!\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'><span style='\"color:'><strong>Dessert. Heading to a gourmet bakery or an ice cream shop once in a while puts a smile on every kids face.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'><span style='\"color:'><strong>Pedicures. I was surprised at how much fun we had the first time I took her when she was three years old. She loved every minute of it and was so patient.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'><span style='\"color:'><strong>A Play. We love musicals and finding a play that is based on a story she knows is always fun.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'><span style='\"color:'><strong>Coffee Shop. Coffee for me and hot chocolate for her \u2013 maybe even a muffin to go along for a snack.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'><span style='\"color:'><strong>Shoe Shopping. Sometimes we don\u2019t even buy anything, but trying on lots of fancy shoes with my girl is so fun.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'><span style='\"color:'><strong>A Makeup Store. Yes, trying on lip gloss is a little girls dream!\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'><span style='\"color:'><strong>Picnic. Packing a lunch and eating outside on a warm days is a lovely way to reconnect and spend time together.\n<h4><span style='\"color:' font-size:>What is your favorite way to spend individual time with your kids?\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I love spending individual time with each of my kids.
