After being attacked at home, 31-year-old Shayna Crimo \u201cscreamed bloody murder\u201d for her spouse to call the police.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>King, Shayna\u2019s 11-year-old companion dog, had never acted aggressively before, and the event happened just minutes after she had returned from an art lesson. She still lives with King even though she lost the majority of her nose and had to have several forehead flap surgery to rebuild the area.<br>\n<span style='\"font-size:'><img fetchpriority='\"high\"' decoding='\"async\"' class='\"aligncenter' size-full wp-image-115833 src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/legendstitch.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/2025%5C/03%5C/As-soon-as-I-went-to-give-him-a-hug-and-a-kiss-he-bit-me-immediately.jpg%5C%22" alt='\"\"' width='\"810\"' height='\"539\"' srcset='\"https:\/\/legendstitch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/As-soon-as-I-went-to-give-him-a-hug-and-a-kiss-he-bit-me-immediately.jpg' https: sizes='\"(max-width:'>\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>This terrible incident occurred on January 18, just a few days before another terrible event: two days after her initial surgery, her nearly 13-year-old pit bull Krieo was scheduled to be put down due to cancer. \u201cThese dogs literally grew up with me,\u201d Shayna remarked, describing her relationship with her dogs. According to the Mirror, \u201cI\u2019ve had them for more than ten years\u2026 they are my children essentially.\u201d\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>\u201cShould I put King down? Not at all f*g. I would prefer that he spend the rest of his life at home, never leaving the house, never needing a babysitter, and simply being extra cautious, but that is not an option.\u201d\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>\u201cAs soon as I went to give him a hug and a kiss, he bit me immediately,\u201d the loving pet owner from Nevada, USA, continued. He didn\u2019t make any noises, he didn\u2019t back up, there was no snarl, and there was no warning. It went by so quickly.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>\u201cI recall the terrible feeling of being shaken, after which I rushed into the toilet, saw how I looked, and yelled bloody murder to get [her boyfriend] to dial 911. Since I\u2019ve respected King\u2019s boundaries for nearly 11 years, I know he doesn\u2019t want to be bothered at night, which is why this has never happened.<br>\n<span style='\"font-size:'><img decoding='\"async\"' class='\"aligncenter' size-full wp-image-115825 src="%5C%22https:%5C/%5C/legendstitch.com%5C/wp-content%5C/uploads%5C/2025%5C/03%5C/IMG_3260.webp%5C%22" alt='\"\"' width='\"1024\"' height='\"579\"' srcset='\"https:\/\/legendstitch.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/IMG_3260.webp' https: sizes='\"(max-width:'>\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>He was sitting up at the edge of the bed, not lying down. He\u2019s sitting there like that, very alert, and has never displayed any violent behaviour or warning indications.\u201d\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>Shayna has found the dilemma especially emotional, but she is still thinking about putting King down. To assist gather money for the several surgeries she will require to recuperate from the attack, she has created a GoFundMe page.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>\u201cI just can\u2019t believe how extreme it all is,\u201d the fundraiser stated. My heart is completely broken. I\u2019ll have to pay for the euthanasia, have several operations (I\u2019ve just had the first one so far), lose months of work, and, let\u2019s be honest, get some serious treatment.\n<p><span style='\"font-size:'>I feel so powerless for myself right now. \u201cFor me and my loved ones, this will be a very lengthy trip. Anything will be greatly appreciated and helpful. Of all, my heart needs the most repair.
